Résumés
Global : Le destin de l'équipe toute entière est en jeu lorsqu'ils recherchent le tueur d'un des leurs. Un Season finale de 2heures des plus choquant.
Global : The fate of the entire team hangs in the balance as they hunt the killer of one of their own.
- Part 1 : Deux garçons découvrent un homme mort quand ils font les idiots avec un pistolet. Il s'avère que l'homme était un ancien agent du NCIS William Decker. La directrice Sheppard assiste à son enterrement avec Tony et Ziva qui la suivent pour la protéger. l'autopsie montre que c'était un suicide mais pendant les funérailles, Jenny découvre que c'était un meurtre. Mike Franks apparaît dans cet épisode, connaissait l'agent et est présent aux funérailles. Pendant qu'elle enquête, la team devra gérer la perte de l'un des leurs...
- Part 1 : Two boys discover a dead man when they are messing around with a BB-gun. It turns out the man is a former NCIS Special Agent William Decker. Director Sheppard attends his funeral, with Tony and Ziva tagging along to protect her. Agent Decker's autopsy was ruled a suicide, but at the funeral, Jenny discovers it was murder. Mike Franks is also in this episode and knew the agent. During her investigation the team will have to deal with the loss of one of their own.
- Part 2 : Mike Franks fait des recherches au nom de Gibbs. Gibbs est dans la maison de Jenny, tandis que l'équipe et Vance sont de retour au Siège de NCIS.
- Part 2 : Mike Franks is doing research on behalf of Gibbs. Gibbs is in Jenny's house, while the team and Vance are back at NCIS Headquarters.

- The case number on the front of the manilla envelope that Agent Fornell sends Gibbs is "8675309". This is the same number, actually a phone number, from a Tommy Tutone song named 8675309/Jenny, which was released in 1982. It was very popular and caused many people, in different area codes, to call that number and ask for Jenny.
- Gibbs refers to a goddaughter he has in Mexico who probably is Mike Franks granddaughter from the season 4 episode Iceman.
